What motivates you?  Whether it's in fitness or any other aspect of life, you must figure out what motivates you.  If you are relying on others to provide you motivation, that will only be temporary.  Yes it may get you started, but it sure won't sustain you over time, especially when things get difficult.  You must have your own motivation.  Something that you can focus on and hold on to.  When you identify what's a powerful motivator for you then you can accomplish most anything as long as you realize two things.  Anything worthwhile takes significant time to make happen and requires hard work.  There are no ways around must find the motivation within you and then stick to the task at hand even when you don't feel like it.

Don't look to others for long term sustainable motivation as it will doom you to failure.  Be willing to work hard over a long period of time to accomplish your goals and you will give yourself the best shot to be successful in whatever it is you are doing.
